Welcome to my classes! Each week  we do a full body workout focusing on specific muscle groups. Workouts vary between low-rep heavy lifts and high-rep volume lifts.

This is a great plan to do 2-3 times a week if that is what your schedule allows. I recommend either rest days or cardio days in between these workouts as you don’t want to do them back to back.

The muscle groups we work will switch up weekly.

Back to Basics

This program is a 10 week lifting plan. It is a gym Focused Weightlifting Plan (with HOME modifications) to help you get out of your comfort zone, lift heavy and gain muscle.

Lift with greg

Hey Guys its Greg! Here are the exact workouts I have used for years to get from where I started to where I am today. These workouts are one muscle group per day (legs, chest, back, shoulders and arms) with legs getting worked twice/week and one rest day. Workouts should take between 50 minutes to 1 hour depending on your rest times. Feel free to swap days in and out as needed, but consistent repetition using progressive overload is the key to transforming into your goals.

GYM BASICS

This is a plan designed to help you build muscle and strength, resulting in fat loss and recomposition of your body.  You will focus on basic movements done at the gym. The single week of daily workouts is designed to be repeated for 4-5 weeks, giving you time to familiarize yourself with the workout and master the movements. Focus on pushing yourself and lifting heavier or doing a couple extra reps.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

HOW I TRAIN

My focus is hypertrophy (muscle growth) and progressive overload (getting stronger).

You don’t need complicated or extensive workouts to get results. What you need to focus on is QUALITY over QUANTITY.

I do basic, simple movements over and over, all the while pushing my limits and trying to add weight or get additional reps (this is progressive overload). I do this by choosing just a few moves for every workout, and giving each of them my all.

Rest periods are very important when lifting like this so you are able to lift heavier and have better quality reps. If you feel like you don’t need as long of rest, that is probably a good indicator you can lift heavier and/or push harder.

Keep it simple, but give it all you’ve got! Getting uncomfortable is where you will find your results!
